Jay Trophy Men’s Elite Cup.

The Jay Trophy is a multi-day red ball cricket tournament organized by the   Cricket Association of Nepal , officially named as the Men's Elite Cup. This is the 11-day Cricket tournament will start from January 5, 2025 and end on January 16, 2025. Talking about the format, Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club, Bagmati Pradesh and Mahadesh Pradesh will play one match each in the group stage. The group stage matches will be played in two day format. After the group stage, there will be a final match between the top two teams. The final match will be held in three days format.

A total of four teams will participate in this competition. Those 4 teams are the top four ranked teams in the last Prime Minister Cup. Four teams namely Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club, Bagmati Province and Madhes Province will participate in the tournament. This tournament is held on Janakpur and parsa simultaneously.

2025, January 5-6: Madhesh Province vs Bagmati Province. 

2025, January 5-6: Nepal Police vs Tribhuvan Army

2025, January 8-9: Tribhuvan army vs Bagmati province 

2025, January 8-9: Madesh province vs Nepal police club 

2025, January 11-12: Nepal police vs  Bagmati province 

2025, January 11-12: Tribhuvan army vs Madesh province 

Final 2025, January 14-15-16 : 1st vs 2nd 

All the matches will be start from 9:0 pm

Conclusion: We believe that red ball cricket will play an important role in bringing Nepali cricket to the root level.It gives young players a chance to showcase their skills and patience in the long format. Such a tournament not only helps to develop new talent, but also improves the mental and technical ability of the players and makes Nepal stronger in international cricket
