The Best XI of NPL 2024

Janakpur Bolts became the first champion of the Nepal premier league  (NPL) held from November 16 to December 6, 2081. Sudurpaschim Royals became its runner-up. But the wave of NPL did not end with this final game. Its successful project has opened new doors of possibilities in the field of cricket.

The fact that about 12,000 tickets were sold out three days before the opening match of the NPL also shows how excited Nepali cricket fans who grew up watching the Indian Premier League 'IPL' are to watch the franchise league in their own land.

The eight franchise teams promoted by various business houses, the participation of domestic and foreign cricketers, significant corporate sponsorship, live broadcast on Star Sports, and the enthusiastic presence of domestic cricket lovers have made the NPL completely different from previous cricket tournaments of the same nature.

Another reason why this cricket league is popular and important is the huge investment in it. If we look at all the expenses incurred by the franchise teams, the income of the organizers, sponsorship, etc., then NPL is becoming a 'property' or 'brand' worth nearly 100 million Nepali rupees.

In other words, franchise cricket worth around one billion has become possible in Nepal. This in itself is a positive indicator for the sluggish Nepalese economy.

1. Openers: Saif ali Zaib and Binod Bhandari

• Rohit Kumar Paudel (4th)

Captain of Nepal national team Rohit paudel is skillful batter who is known as 360° player of Nepal.He is also Handy with ball. He is a Captain of Lumbini Lions. Highest runs Scorer in playoffs round in NPL 2024.

He is a captain of Sudurpashchim Royals and take a award of player of the series.
